Ross Meade did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. Ross and his wife Emily really helped us with the design and layout also. We weren’t really sure on exactly what we wanted and they really helped us through it with the design plan. Ross and Emily together had a great vision for our project. Very professional and he also has really good subcontractors. Especially our cabinets and custom hood and countertops are amazing!! Our electrical, flooring, plumbing all turned out great. We would highly recommend Ross Meade Construction to anyone. Very good people and easy to work with!
Ross and all the subcontractors are A++. I would use Ross to build a house or remodel without any hesitation. Ross pays special attentions to details and listens to the customers wants and issues. I met Ross about seven years ago and chose him as our contractor on the build of our new home here in Grants Pass. I was so happy with his integrity and attention to detal that when I was ready to have a stand alone addition on our property I asked him to be the contractor. Although this was a small project, Ross was the ultimate professional and built the most amazing little casita I call “The Nest”. All of his sub contractors were also amazing and each of them praised Ross as not only being a nice guy but a great guy to work with. I appreciate his professionalism and also his eye for design in helping me make some decisions I may have been struggling with. I could always count on each phase of the work being completed in a timely manner and communication being open and honest. We contracted with Ross for the build of a new home. Having just moved into the area, we went with Ross because his price seemed fair, and we had received several enthusiastic reviews on his past work. We were not disappointed, and his performance met and often exceeded all of our expectations. He has an excellent work ethic, and we were impressed with the quality of his subs, as well as the work he performed himself. It was especially refreshing that over the course of our six month project, Ross always made himself reachable, whether by phone, email, or text, and promptly responded to all communications. He executed a timely construction schedule, and we’re currently enjoying ourselves in our new home. We’re thankful for having found such an honest and reliable contractor. In our opinion, they don’t come any better than this!
We were impressed with the professionalism of Ross from the get-go. After interviewing several potential contractor candidates, we found that he stood out among the rest as being the most organized, detail-oriented and reliable. Throughout the project he kept us updated with expenditures and gave us detailed updates on where we were on our budget. He was always quickly responsive to calls/texts and his high standards insured that our project was done right the first time. He was attentive to our needs and style, and was never pushy when offering guidance in our remodel design. He also was creative and came up with a roofline alternative that we absolutely loved. Overall, Ross was simply a joy to have in and out of our home—and we were perfectly pleased with his superior work!

Impossible to say enough great things about Ross – exceeded all of our expectations about how pleasant working with a contractor could be. He handled two substantial internal remodel projects for us in 2023 and both turned out better than we could have imagined. Ross is patient, organized, friendly, trustworthy and responsive – an exceptionally rare combination for a contractor – and also happens to do phenomenal high end work. Our projects included several scope and budget changes, curated materials sourced from all over the country, and a handful of unusual requests that I’m sure other contractors would have refused to attempt – but Ross and his team of talented and courteous subcontractors worked with us every step of the way to literally build us the house of our dreams. Ross Meade built us a beautiful sunroom two years ago. Recently he remodeled 2 bathrooms and our kitchen. All his work is wonderful, but the kitchen is especially gorgeous and user friendly. Ross is very professional, courteous, trustworthy, thoughtful, a good listener, and a perfectionist in the quality of his work. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for our next job!
Ross did an amazing job on our project. Shop with in-law apartment. He was great about communicating about the project and keeping us updated with progress. His subcontractors were here when they were scheduled and Ross made sure the project never stalled. Ross and company were a dream to work with. A literal unicorn in the contractor space as I have worked with several. Communication is consistent and clear. Expectations are clearly outlined. He and his team were a delight to have around. Ross is meticulous, patient, fair, and straightforward. His wife, Emily, was extremely helpful with design and was a huge asset in the entire process. Our remodel was extensive and took approximately six months to complete. We lived in a portion of the home during the remodel. Ross and his sub-contractors were respectful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to hire Ross every time I need a contractor. I have recommended him to anyone who will listen to me. Our home is beautiful and the attention to detail is really special. We found Ross Meade to be a top notch professional. He is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and an excellent project manager. The house he built for us is somewhat out of the ordinary. With product shortages and delays caused by the pandemic things still went smoothly. A testament to his managerial skills. We found Ross to be completely unflappable when asked to make changes to the design. He was always willing to work with us to achieve the results we were looking for. Because my wife and I are retired general contractors ourselves, we found it difficult to hand over control of the project to someone else. When we talked to Ross Meade, we knew we had found our man. He is honest, an excellent craftsman, and an all around nice guy. Highly Recommended
Ross Meade is a delight to work with. He is honest, fair and very professional. He worked on a remodel in our tax and accounting office and we were impressed that we did not experience any disruptions or disturbances during the process. I always call on Ross now when I have a building or remodeling project. He never disappoints.
I wish there were more stars! We cannot say enough good things about Ross. We contracted with him in to build a 1400 sqft shop and a 900 sqft addition to our home for my parents. From day one until completion, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. His incredible commitment to quality, his honesty, strong work ethic and easy-going manner make him an ideal builder. We had a bit of a unique situation trying to match the architecture and style of our current home with the shop and especially with the addition. The roofline was quite complicated and I had a picture in my head of how I wanted it to turn out and Ross delivered! Perfect match. There are many people whom have seen the home before and after and every one of them is amazed at his work. Even the original builder of our home (we bought after it was completed and were not involved in the construction) admitted he was a bit jealous that Ross had built such a beautiful and perfectly-matched addition. Ross is completely committed to his clients’ satisfaction and will work tirelessly to go above and beyond their expectations. The attached photos are of the shop and completed home with addition. Ross Meade has to be the very best contractor in the Grants Pass area. He is a true professional. Pays attention to every detail and does beautiful work. All his subs were great. He completes a 3 room addition to our home on schedule and on budget. There is no way to tell the difference from his addition to our preexisting home. We really can’t recommend him and his crew enough. As you can tell we are very very pleased with Ross Meade Construction!
My wife and I had the best experience working with Ross Meade as our contractor. Ross is a master craftsman and excellent project manager. At the beginning, we visited his previous clients who had wonderful things to say about their experience with Ross. Ross was very easy to work with. He helped us through the planning process and answered our many questions during the build, demonstrating patience, reliability and honesty. He is just an all-around great guy and master homebuilder and his whole family is involved in the process of making home building a wonderful process. Ross’ wife Emily is a knowledgeable designer who provided us great support and ideas. We whole-heartedly can state he is a superb home builder, but more importantly a great person to work with and his team of tradesman are outstanding. I just moved from Arizona and didn’t know any contractors. I decided to talk to some neighbors in my new neighborhood and they all raved about Ross. When I met him I was pleasantly surprised. He was very professional and listened to every idea I had. His wife Emily helped me through the design process and fixture selections. I am so happy with the results. I contracted Ross in 2015 to build my home in Merlin Or. I was still living in Calif. when he began the work. I was unable to be on the job while work was being done, so I gave the authority to make decisions. He was very professional through out the project. He kept me well informed of progress and completed his phase of work in approx. 5 months. He left the completion of the final work when I moved up to Or. in July. He set up with subs I needed to complete the final work, helped me with the final inspection process and met with the inspector at final. I’ve been living here now for a year with out any problems. I will Highly recommend his work to anyone.
Having had several homes built in the past, I knew the process and the pitfalls that can happen during construction. None of them happened with Ross as our contractor! Ross’s calm manner, professionalism, communication skills, 5 star ethics and dedication made our build a joy. He worked closely with us when we requested changes, additions or deletions. Ross worked tirelessly and was always promt and attentive in partnership with us. The result is that we are now living in our dream home. Thank you Ross.
